30-day challenge: a reward for completion of week three

CONGRATULATIONS!

After the completion of another successful week of getting organized, it's time to pamper yourself with another wonderful treat, ok? I wish I could prepare it, sit with a cup of coffee,  chat about the week... but alas, we can only converse here. So, please leave me a comment or email me and let me hear about your week of organization!  Now, on to the reward - another yummy (and easy) treat.

Frozen Berries w/ Hot White Chocolate
SO EASY – perfect for a fireside treat or an elegant dinner party dessert

Ingredients

  • 1¼ lb good white chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 2½ C heavy cream
  • 2 T pure vanilla extract
  • 2¼ lbs frozen mixed berries or frozen raspberries, I use fresh frozen berries *
Directions

Combine the chocolate, heavy cream and the vanilla in a heat-proof bowl and set it over a pan of simmering water until the chocolate melts.

About 5 minutes before serving, remove the berries from the freezer and place them on individual serving plates. Ladle the warm chocolate sauce over the berries and serve.

* Note: You can either buy frozen berries, or freeze your own by placing fresh berries on a flat tray in a single layer. When the berries are fully frozen, store them a plastic bag in the freezer. Larger berries, such as strawberries, do not freeze well.

Please let me know what you think of the recipe!

Again, CONGRATULATIONS!
