Overall, in my
personal decor and apparel, I am a Plain Jane – i.e. just Black, White, or Tan.
If you walked into my closet, you would find three huge color blocks neatly
hung for selection. However, in my profession, I seem to find no problem in
offering a pop of color to help bring joy and happiness to a room. Crazy, huh?
Wonder what that all means?
Recently, I have been drawn to the amazing color Turquoise. There
are so many shades and tones of this color, it could easily qualify as a color
for everyone. Are you drawn to a specific color? Do you have a certain color
that you seem to get ‘stuck’ on for a period of time or that seems to be in
everything you pick?
Although the Pantone color of 2014 is Orchid… I think I am going
to stick with my envy over Turquoise for now. I may have gone a little crazy
here with turquoise images from Pinterest – but I just couldn't stop and the
more I got into it… the more I got into it, you know what I mean?!
Yes, turquoise is now my color choice for
2014. I apologize that the image origins are not given credit but it is quite
